Literature Text

Who am I?
I am but an explorer. Trying to find the reason why
I am nothingness in an ever expanding ocean
Where I can be free. Where I can see

Who I am
I never cared for the mainland. It imprisoned me
Like being buried in a forgotten tomb
But out there, I can be me and soar

Now, I set sail to a land anew
Where only the stars and moon can guide me
Where I will end my days in snowy bliss

In all directions there is only a thick darkness
But gazing upwards the polestar do guide
And with brisk winds 'pon my cheek
I smile and with vie and I go further north

Like giants from the depth, we are dwarfed
My ship like a drifting gangplank
"At least two hundred phantoms high"
Icebergs. Soon I am home

I've witnessed the passing of eons
Beyond lifetimes just to come back
To whence I came, where I shall die
Milena elapse. Like flickering fire

Closing in. Frigid morasses
A sign of a frozen landscape adored
Redefining aesthetics with Her deceiving smile
Never impassible, only strident

I embrace my cold sepulchre
Bid my men far thee well
And in forever slumber
I close my eyes to die
.
